1. You need to be at the Hotel by 6.15pm so that we can all be registered and walk over to Albert Park at 6.30pm sharp.  Please be on time.

2. We generally get between 35 and 70 runners on a Tuesday night.  We encourage you to stay afterwards for a drink or two and dinner if you have the time.

3. While there are spots for leaving your gear it's all care and no responsibility. We recommend leaving as much of your stuff as you can at home or in your car.  We have a box for valuables that is locked away while we run, a storage area for bags (not supervised) and large bags at the start line to hold jumpers etc while you run.

 4. The Cricket Club Hotel generously sponsors our drink on Tuesday nights.  We'd like to return the favour be being gracious guests and behaving appropriately, as we always do!

5. Your $6 goes to the administration of Gunn Runners (eg, insurance, website & PayPal fees etc), charity (eg, Relay for Life and Sacred Heart Mision) or returned to members at subsidised social events (eg, Christmas party, mid-year cocktail party).  We are a not-for-profit incorporated association so our funds go to those 3 purposes.

6. A member is a person who has bought 10 runs for $50 and therefore has a dedicated bib.  It's a cheaper way to go for you and is much easier for people on registration too.  Plus, members often gets discounts to Gunnies social events.

7. The best way to start getting involved is to go on registration or mark the course.  Registration includes signing people in on Tuesday night and recording times.   No experience necessary for either task - with registration you will be paired with an experienced registration buddy.  It's a great way to get to know your fellow Gunnies better.   In return for either task you get a free run the following week.  If you're course marking the instructions are set out below.

8. You will need to grab the flour from the Gunn Runners locker at the Cricket Club Hotel before you head out to mark the course.

The turnaround points:

1.5 km mark:

Coming from the North side of the Lake. Look out for a sharp turn left of the road where a gravel trap would be for the grand prix.  At the 50km speed sign, count 4 trees past the sign.  Approx 2 metres before the 4th tree is the turnaround point.

Coming from the South side of the Lake. Look for the hut with a sign that has 108 on it.  Count 3 trees past the hut.  2 metres north of the 3rd tree is the turnaround point.

2.5 km mark:

Count 3 park benches past the loop at the bottom of the lake.  Just past the 3rd bench is a gnarly old tree.  This is the 2.5km turnaround point.  You can generally see the chalk here from previous weeks.
